COLPOFER contributes to European security innovation through its participation in the IMPRESS project (IMProving Railway sEcurity through awareness and training), co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by the UIC Security Division. In its capacity as a member of the Advisory Board, COLPOFER provides strategic guidance and operational insight, ensuring that the project’s training programmes and awareness materials reflect the real needs of the railway security community and are aligned with current threats and practices. This involvement supports the development of practical, targeted solutions aimed at strengthening the protection of railway stations and trains and enhancing the preparedness of personnel operating across the rail environment.
